It becomes possible thanks to device GreenWheel developed by scientists from the Massachusetsky institute of technology. The device fastening on a back axis of a bicycle, consists of the electric motor, the accumulator and the generator which recharges the battery, for example, during long descents.
From one charge of battery GreenWheel allows to pass approximately 32 kilometres, without touching thus pedals. At present work on this interesting gadget still proceeds, but already soon it should appear on sale, and cost will make it some hundreds dollars.
